History[]
On November 23rd, Grifball Admin PP MooCow PP announced the beginning of the Grifball Winter League 2009. The League would commence on Monday, December 15th. Like the Previous Summer Season, the league would consist of a Legacy League and a Rookie League.
Sign-ups took place in three rounds: First Legacy players, then Rookies with Rooster Teeth Sponsorship, and then finally everyone else.
Legacy Regular Season[]
The Legacy League was comprised of 11 divisions of five-to-six teams each. The regular season consisted of ten games.

Rookie Regular Season[]
The Rookie League was comprised of an 13 divisions of five-to-six teams each. The regular season consisted of ten games.

Legacy Playoffs[]
The Legacy playoffs began on January 28th and were comprised of the top two teams from each division in addition to two wild card teams. The 24-team playoff bracket included eight first-round byes for the top eight seeds.
